SNAMS holds 17th Clinical Graduation for Batches Balaue, Paragons, and Kahiladman

On June 24, 2023, at the Peter G. Nepomuceno Auditorium, the School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences held its 17th Clinical Graduation Ceremony. The event was attended by the SNAMS faculty and administration, OIC-VP for Academic Affairs, parents and guardians, student leaders and the graduating batches from the Nursing, Medical Technology and Radiologic Technology departments.

Prof. Al D. Biag, the OIC-VP for Academic Affairs, welcomed the clinical graduates and guests to the ceremony leaving his message focusing on the three Angelite Cs and how these can translate to patient care. Batch Balaue of the Nursing department, Batch Paragons of the Medical Technology department, and Batch Kahiladman of the Radiologic Technolgy department were then awarded with pins by Prof. Biag and Assoc. Prof. Precious Jean M. Marquez, OIC-Dean of SNAMS.

Special citations in Community Health Nursing, Best Thesis awards, Special awards in Related Learning Experience, and Leadership awards were also given to deserving Nursing, Medical Technology and Radiologic Technology students during the ceremony. The awardees received certificates and medals for these special recognitions.
​
The awarding ceremony was then followed by audio-visual presentations reminiscing their four-year journey at the University. This was followed by some testimonies of parents appreciating and celebrating the hard-earned success of the graduates.

A heartwarming song number was also rendered as the graduates surprised their parents and guardians with roses to the tune of Ed Sheeran's "Supermarket Flowers". Eyes welled with tears in this gesture of appreciation and thanks of the students to their parents and guardians who have been with their journey for the past years.

To conclude the event, Assoc. Prof. Precious Jean M. Marquez delivered her closing remarks thanking all the students and parents for entrusting their education and doing their best to attain their well-deserved success.
